A compilation of ‘work’ done over the last, rather strange year…

Some recent good news from Bucharest: Christoph Girardet & Matthias Müller’s film, Misty Picture (2021) – for which I composed the score, has received a special mention from the jury of this year’s International Competition of the Bucharest International Experimental Film Festival:

“Films will never start like this anymore. A clear statement not only of nostalgia and melancholy, but which also speaks to a deeper layer of insecurity in a world where nothing stays the same. The trauma keeps itself hidden behind the images, but it is still present. Guided by the intense score by Chris Jones we move in circles, straight to our heart.“
